Salary Packaging

Package up to $16,050 pa without paying Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). Due to our charity status we are able to offer our employees up to $16,050 of their salary tax-free. Salary Packaging allows staff to structure their salary in a tax effective way, potentially increasing their take home pay. In addition, up to $5,200 can be packaged for meal entertainment.

Learning & Career Development

The NDGP recognises the value of continuous learning and encourages staff to update and maintain their skills. We offer several options for staff to apply for leave and/or financial assistance for courses relating to their current position or future career with the organisation.

Other Benefits

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees and their immediate family. It is a confidential, free counselling service offered by the Division who believes that less stress means a more productive workforce. Employees can choose between face-to-face or telephone counselling during work hours.

All permanent staff who have completed a minimum of 52 weeks continuous service are entitled to 12 months maternity leave, including 4 weeks paid maternity leave.
